Kenneth “Kenny” A. Vance, 78 of Toledo, OH. passed away, Sunday, August 7, 2016.  Born January 21, 1938, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Aldie J. and Leta (Biskiner) Vance.   Kenny was a 1956 graduate of the former Burnham High School and then attended Bowling Green State University, where he received a scholarship for wrestling. He was a lifelong carpenter, he had worked for as a construction manager for Turnbull Construction for over 15 years.    Kenny was an avid longtime follower, mentor and number 1 fan for the Bedford Wrestling Team, where he helped with fund raising and several other events.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Kathy (Steve) Jakubowski and Kari Vance; granddaughters, Kristi Jakubowski and Lindsay (Michael) Jakubowski-Simmet great granddaughter, Alice Kovach and girlfriend, Cheri Philips.  He was preceded in death by his son, Derek Vance.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Thursday, August 18, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
